Why does Spotify keeps skipping my podcasts back by 5-10 seconds?

Hi, I'm using the Spotify Web Player, and this issue only affects my laptop - I haven't noticed it happening on my iPad where I use the app.
I usually listen to podcasts on 1.1-1.2x speed, but the issue persists on normal speed.
Spotify randomly skips back 10 or so seconds seemingly at random points when I'm listening to a podcast. Songs are unaffected.

Since you mentioned this is happening while you use the web player, we'd suggest you make sure that you clear the cookies and cache of the browser you're using. Make sure it is also up-to-date.

If the issues persist afterwards, then we'd like to gather some additional info:

• Does this happen if you use a different browser?
• Do you use a VPN? If yes, try switching it off.
• Does this happen if you download and install the desktop app?
• Does this happen when playing a specific show? If yes, send us the link to it.
