My Question or Issue

Where is the Spotify EXE file location? A simple question but nobody knows...

Someone else posted a month ago the same exact question and nobody responded. I have not found ANY solutions, videos, or answers providing the exact location of the EXE file of Spotify.

*Please do not provide a simple answer without screenshots or a video link of the correct way. Also, do not tell me to hit properties, or look in the appdata folder or a solution that has already been stated...it does not have the option to right click or view properties.

i found mine on:
C:\Users\[yourusername]\AppData\Roaming\Spotify\Spotify.exe

Search for spotify on start menu, right-click, properties reveals the location

Please read thoroughly before responding. The paragraph clearly states "Also, do not tell me to hit properties, or look in the appdata folder or a solution that has already been stated"

The APPDATA folder is not the solution, AND no properties come up. Please do not waste your time and type it out...again. Thank you but you really have to read before posting next time. The two things you mention.... are exactly what I said.... lol

Sorry  sbout my previous useless answer, I assumed you downloaded the app but it seems you you installed it from the Microsoft Store instead.

Then the following article should be useful:

The exe will be inside c:\Program Files\WindowsApps, but the directory is not accessible by default and you will need to tweak the permissions.

Probably over-cautious here, but do you know if it's safe to delete the original SpotifyAB folder in WindowsApps to reinstall it? Anytime I try to reinstall it normally, it stops at 80% and says to try again later.
