how to hide a song or artist in widows app ?

in windows app, there is no button to dislike a song or an artist

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out here in our Community. Can you explain what exactly do you mean by hide? Is the song or artist in  your own playlist or is it in a playlist that you follow? 

If you want to hide a certain song from your liked songs you can simply unclick the green heart icon and the song will be removed. If the playlist belongs to someone else you will not be able to hide the song. 

To block an artist from playing on Spotify, go to their profile. When you're there, click the three-dot button, which is next to the follow button. This will open a menu that contains the Don't play this artist option. Select this to block that artist. Note that you can do this only in the mobile app. 

The desktop app doesn't let you block artists outside of the Discover Weekly playlist. Open your Discover Weekly playlist > locate a song from the artist > click the remove icon next to the heart icon.
