my old spotify playlists keep getting deleted whenever i create a new one

okay so every time i try to create a new playlist, an old playlist of mine gets hidden or deleted- so i have to delete the new playlist i make in order to recover the old one- this has happened 12 times-

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome to the forum!

Creating new playlists shouldn't be what's causing the older ones to disappear, so it's a good idea to perform some troubleshooting steps if you've not already done any. 

For example, a clean reinstall which also includes clearing the cache often helps resolve different performance issues. You can follow the steps here.

Additionally, you can check if there's any 3rd party apps on your device that are linked to Spotify and are in some way causing this behavior. You can also remove the access by logging in to the Apps page here.

Lastly, it's worth mentioning that there's a playlist limit (10k), however, Spotify doesn't just delete your old playlists when you reach it, but instead you should see an error message.
