My Question or Issue

I've installed the Spotify-App out of the Windows-App-Store. - But when I'm trying to login nothing happens. I start from the following screen2023-07-04 16_29_11-Spotify.png

If i click on "Anmeldung" no Browser is opened. - I only see the next screen

Is there any chance to login?

Hey @IngoW,

 

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome. 

 

In this case, we'd recommend changing the default browser in Windows. To do it, you can follow the steps you can find in this article. Once you've done it, try again to see if you notice any difference. 

 

If the above doesn't do the trick, if you have a VPN activated, turn it off and restart the app to see if it makes any difference. Additionally, keep in mind that computers used for work usually have some restrictions that may affect the proper behavior of the app. That being said, if perhaps you're using a computer for work, try it on a different one (if possible). 

 

Lastly, we'd also recommend changing the proxy type to No proxy, from the Settings menu on the login screen of the app:

I want to log into my Windows Desktop App. It opens a Browser Window, i log into my account and it says I can close the Browser Window. After closing it the screen of the desktop app has not changed and it says still "Login" with an icon to get me to the browser.

I'm facing the same issue I've been reinstalling the app from Microsoft store or the version you provide on your website and none of them are working I'm still stuck in the loop others said about!
