Creators should not be allowed to include their own ads for sponsoring-companies in their content

As a premium Spotify user, I pay a monthly subscription for an ad-free service. I am pretty annoyed to observe that many creators have started including their own ads for companies sponsoring them in their Spotify content. This should be a breach of Spotify policy, and if this policy does not exist then it needs to be created.

As a consumer, I do not care if the ad is Spotify hosted, or if the creator is including it in their own content. To me, an ad is an ad. And I am paying monthly to have the Spotify service AD-FREE. Therefore, to me as the consumer, Spotify themselves are in breach of this contract due to the fact that their own creators are allowed to just include whatever ads they like in their videos. How is that at all fair on the actual consumer paying for an ad-free service?

If Spotify is not paying it's creators well enough that they are now pushed to include their own sponsored ads, then this seriously needs looking at. You cannot advertise a paid service as "ad-free" and then allow your biggest creators on the platform to actually show ads to your paying users. Something is not right and it needs to be addressed immediately. Why on earth then are we paying for Spotify premium?
