[Desktop][Connect] Spotify integration in Siri for MacOS Catalina

Hello all,

The idea is really simple: Spotify can now be controlled with Siri for IOS, but not with Siri for MacOS. It would be very appreciated if the Spotify staff would look into this option and keep their customers up to date on the subject, as I believe this is a very much requested option. It's quite frustrating knowing that a Spotify function is available on a 200$ old iPhone but not on a  brand new 3000$ MacBook. If it's simply not possible to integrate Spotify in Siri for MacOS, then it is what it is, but at least find a way to keep in touch with the customers about what steps have been taken and will be taken.

Definitely something needed, and having Spotify App available on the Mac App Store as well would be practical.

Definitely a bummer Spotify hasn't pushed this out yet.

The closer i got on it was:

- put the spotify to play on Macbook.

- open it on iPhone as a remote control.

- send commands to Siri on iPhone.

It would make so much sense for them to add this. The functionality is there already in iPadOS and iOS so there in terms of integration it would be easy. I think the reason it has taken them so long is because it would appear as if the Spotify application for MacOS would need to be in the App Store and I believe that the only programs that are able to go into the app. store are programs that are created using Apple's own programming language whereas at the moment it is running the same cross platform code as Windows and Linux will be using with some minor changes. As much as I would love this functionality I think the reason it hasn't already been done is because of the amount of work it would take to recreate and then maintain a whole new version of the program simply for one feature on one platform. Still I would love to see it. Especially if it is true about the potential price increase! They want more money then I want more features! OR at least the same features as is on other platforms!
