Option to turn off videos in parental controls needed

You really need a setting to turn off videos in parental controls. Parents get Spotify family because they don’t want their teens on YouTube . Now Spotify has all the same dumb videos.

I SECOND THIS. I FOUND LITERAL P**N. I was looking for a clip in a podcast and several untitled or videos labeled "private" appeared that were just straight up P**N posted using the new video features. Spotify has taken some of them down but there is going to be no way for them to realistically catch all of them. The option to turn the videos off would be very good. Way too many children using Spotify for this to go ignored.

I've been using spotify with a family account for years now, so my son could listen to music and lately to kids stories and audiobooks. Unfortunately he figured out how to watch minecraft videos just like on youtube. There is no way to turn it off or block certain streamers. Their language is vulgar and just plain stupid! No way to hinder my son from watching their videos. I will have to take away his spotify privileges...which means he won't need the account anymore and I will stop using it, too. I've researched online and so many parents stopped using spotify just because of this reason

yes! we need the option to block videos. there are so many comments about kids being glued to the screen. all we want is for them to enjoy the music! we might have to leave Spotify if this doesn't get implemented.

this would also be helpful for adults that know they need to set limits for themselves. a toggle to block videos would be valuable to everyone!

This is infuriating. Why won’t they do this? It’s a music app for heavens sakes. Hazbin hotel videos should not be on it!!!

Voting this feature up, but seems like it could be lost in the many requests....
Seems similar to this two year old feature request to block video content.

If a community star or moderator could comment on parental controls dev progress or plans over the next release roadmap  that would be tops.

I'm on the fence love spotify, dont want to cancel but my sons account is full of video content thats not appropriate. 

I wonder how many parents, family accounts leaving will it take to register on Spotify's radar?
