[Podcasts] Remember unplayed / downloaded podcast filter when closing and reopening the app

Give the option to remember filtering by unplayed on podcasts. So that once the app is closed and reopened later, the podcast doesn’t have to be refiltered by unplayed.

• In what context would you like to be able to filter by 'Unplayed'

iOS. Podcasts can already be filtered by unplayed. I’d like the app to save it when I filter a podcast so that when I reopen it later, the podcast remains filtered by unplayed.

The lack of this feature is what will probably make me stop using Spotify for podcasts. It's that annoying.

Everyone who wants this please post it on social media and get them to change it.  I completely agree, save my sort filter!!! Evertime I open it up it plays the same podcast, and when you are driving you don't want to be playing with the filter on the podcast.

Earlier today, I sent a suggestion (via twitter) that podcasts should remember the filters all the filters, like sort oldest to newest etc. Mostly, I wasn't to be able to hide the ones Ive played already and have it be remembered, as the desktop version does, instead of having to sort that for each podcast every time.  

Then I opened the desktop version this evening, and see they changed the layout (which I don't like but whatever) but they removed the "only show unplayed" episodes button altogether and I hate that. 

Please bring it back and let the phone version remember that as a filter.

I completely Agree with Nick.
The podcast Episode Filters are the first thing I use when looking into a podcast and I don't always listen to them in order. 
Not sure what logical reason would cause them to remove that function on desktop, but I'd appreciate if it was brought back.

I totally agree. The removal of the unplayed episodes filter is horrible for podcasts. Not sure why such a bad decision was made for the UI.
