Prevent duplicate songs in playlist FOLDERS

Hello,

when I add songs to a playlist, Spotify will ask me if I want to add songs that are already in that playlist. This is very convenient, because of course I do NOT want that. It is especially convenient when I add a bunch of songs (like 50) -> It will only add those that are not already in the playlist.

Some users might have folders, and in each folder there are playlists for a certain type of music.

When adding music to a playlist within a folder, ...

a) SOME users might not want songs to be added that are already in that PLAYLIST

b) and SOME users might not want songs to be added that are already in that FOLDER

It would be great if there were a possibily to add a button "only add songs that are not already in that FOLDER (i.e., in any of the playlists there).

This is would be helpful to prevent accumulation of duplicate song appearances within folders. Folders could thus serve this purpose, to prevent duplicates - a handy additional feature.

I would not appreciate this as a standard feature. 

As the user said, this is useful for a specific kind of spotify users. To be added somewhere as a hidden gem in the spotify settings for those few who need this.

I agree that my idea should not be the default behavior. I might however be a feature that's useful enough that it could show up as a dialog option in these situations:

"This folder/playlist already contains some of the songs you want to add"

-> Add all songs regardless // Add only songs that are not in the PLAYLIST // Add only songs that are not in the FOLDER

I agree. But I would appreciate if I had the option for this feature in the settings.
