Feature Request: Sort Playlists by Most Played

Currently, Spotify allows users to organise their playlists manually or by criteria such as recently added or alphabetical order. However, there is no option to sort playlists by the number of times they have been played. Adding a "Most Played" sorting option would allow users to easily access their most frequently used playlists without manually searching for them.

Proposed Solution:
Introduce a new sorting option under the "Playlists" section that allows users to sort their playlists based on the total number of plays across all songs within each playlist. The calculation can be based on either:

• The cumulative number of times songs within a playlist have been played.
• A weighted average that considers song duration and recency of play.

Benefits:

• Enhances user convenience by prioritising frequently used playlists.
• Improves the personalised music experience, aligning with Spotify’s user-centric approach.
• Reduces friction in navigation, especially for users with a large number of playlists.

Implementation Considerations:

• The play count metric should be updated dynamically as songs within a playlist are played.
• Optionally, provide a toggle to exclude playlists with fewer than a certain number of songs to improve relevancy.

This feature would improve playlist accessibility and usability, making it easier for users to engage with their most-loved music effortlessly.
