I hear the same ads that aren't targeted to me hundreds of times. Not only is it annoying to me, but it is also a waste of money for the advertiser. Spotify should add a "This ad doesn't apply to me" button that we can click to prevent improperly targeted ads reaching the wrong listeners. You'll make your customers and your clients happier.
