Toggle Offline Backup on and off

I updated Spotify for the first time in over a year, and the new feature "Offline Backup" is very annoying. I understand it's convenience, however, it fails to grasp exactly what I enjoy listening to. With that, I began looking for ways to turn it off. If I'm not going to listen to those songs, I dont want them downloaded to my device. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to disable the automatic download of the playlist without going into offline mode. I'd rather not stay in offline mode just so I don't have the playlist downloaded. So with that, I believe an option, or a toggle, should be available as a feature to turn off or on Offline Backup. Once again, I understand it's intention, and I see how could help some listeners, but I feel it isn't right for me.

Agreed!!! I hate this and don't want storage taken up without my consent. I have a downloaded songs playlist I have used for several years for this exact purpose, and now Spotify is deciding for me (incorrectly, I might add) what songs I want downloaded and wasting extra storage.
