Toggle Switch to deactivate video clips in feed and the little annoying clip top left of my playlist

Today, when I opened the mobile android app, dark times cast their shadows over humanity, and the year isn't even eight days old.

Erratically flashing, twitching, annoying and seizure inducing clips popped up in my feed, stabbing through my eyes right into my brain. I looked in the settings and online, and couldn't find a way to turn those clips off!
"Picked for you" to make me quit.

Fearing the worst, I powered up my PC and started the Spotify program, but praise the old ones, there still are no insufferable and incessant clips... Yet.
.

Seriously, this is a deal breaker!

I want to relax and enjoy music.

Not music videos!
When i want to watch music videos, like most avarage people I will use a dedicated video app, like YouTube.
I want to turn all of those clips/giffs off!
Including the little phone screen shaped box top left of my playlist!

Even in a dedicated video app like YouTube you have a toggle swith in the settings, to turn off playback in feeds!

Spotify is the fourth best innovation in private music consumption since the Eddison phonograph, headphones, the mp3, and right before Napster. Spotify is a prime example for the great Gabe's (Newell) most famous quote about online services.

As I said, this is a deal breaker, and I don't want to have to revert to mp3s.
I want to put in my Headphones in the bus/subway, with noise cancelling on max, browse through the Spotify catalogue, add the 837th song to my playlist, and listen to the relaxing sounds of music.
I don't want to be bombarded by an insufferable optical sensory overload, from erratic clips.

Please!
I beg you please, include toggle switches in the settings, to turn those seizure inducing clips off!

Even better, just one!

One Toggle Switch to rule them all, One Toggle Switch to find them,
One Toggle Switch to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
