Share songs that remind you of your pet(s)

Do you enjoy listening to any songs that remind you of your pets? If so, feel free to share a link to the relevant tracks (there’s info here on how to do that), as well as to mention why the songs remind you of them.

I was thinking about this topic because last year, I was invited to share about the guinea pigs that I take care of in a couple of Community Blog posts (here and here), for which I was asked to include a link to a song that reminds me of them.

Since then, I’ve listened to a few other tracks that (perhaps even more so) remind me of the guinea pigs at certain moments, during which a synthesizer plays a note that increases in pitch to a high frequency—sounding not unlike the “wheet” (or “wheek,” depending on your choice of spelling) vocalizations that the guinea pigs make to request treats. Here are a couple examples of these sort of guinea pig-like sounds in songs that I enjoy listening to:

(synth at 5:26)

(synth at 1:14)

And here’s another song that I like, which also reminds me of the guinea pigs, but because of a different sonic resemblance; towards the very beginning of this track, there’s a “rumbling” effect, which sounds to me like the guinea pigs’ rumbling sounds that they make when they’re “arguing” over something, such as who gets to be in one of the wooden houses in their enclosure:
