Strangely, sad songs boost my mood the most, probably because I like them so much. Romance by Ex:Re is a good example. I always feel great when I listen to it (maybe it’s the fairly fast tempo?), although the lyrics are depressing.

Hey there folks, 

My favorite happy (or should I say funniest) song is Heterosexuality by Army of Lovers. And yes, you guessed it right - the song includes some sounds of people having sex, even though in some artificial way.

Like others before me have stated that sometimes I want a happy song for when I'm sad AND a sad song when I am happy.  Not always the case but I do think life just wants that balance. 

I just realized this is probably my two biggest types of songs that I like.  So here are a few in no special order and of course I'm missing a million songs that I love that fit this description.
