Right now, the three personalized playlists ("Discover Weekly", "Release Radar", and "Your Trending Mix") are updates that I look forward to each week. These playlists feel personalized, as though they're created with an intimate knowledge of the music that I enjoy listening to. I could see these playlists becoming monotized in the future, that is, I could see artists paying spotify a premium in order to have their music appear more often on playlists that are tailored to spotify users' preferences. Please, not matter what the cost, do not move to this business model. If playlists are suddenly influenced by an artist's bank account, the levels of listener trust as well as playlist authenticity would plummet. Please keep these playlists true and geniune, they are phenomenal the way they are.
