App crashes on startup with Philips 7000 series

Philips with Android TV (latest version) included. 

My Question or Issue

When I listen to Spotify via the above setup, turn of the TV and turn it on again at later point in time, the following happens: When I open spotify, the app freezes for about 10-15 secs and then crashes. I have to close it and open it up again in order for it to work. This is somewhat annoying. Thanks for help!

How long has this been going on for? Does the issue persist if you remove the app and install it again?
