My Question or Issue

I've got spotify premium and when I tried the low quality audio to test it there was literally no difference in audio compared to the very high quality. Everything is up to date so I don't know what the problem is.

Thanks for posting here in the Community and welcome.

 

In this case, we'd recommend you perform a clean reinstall of the app. By doing that, the app can be up-to-date, and you can make sure the stored cache is not leading to audio quality not changing. You can find out the steps to do it here.

 

If the above doesn't do the trick, we'd like to gather some additional info to better understand this behavior. Please send us:

  • The make/model and OS of the affected device. We're not familiar with the model of phone you kindly mentioned. Did you mean a A52?
  • The exact Spotify version you're running.
  • Does this happen when listening to Spotify through speakers or headphones? Keep in mind external devices such as those might not support higher qualities of audio.
