BE NOT RACIST

BE NOT RACIST

Im not native in english, but I'm make sure that my message will be easy to understand...

Since Spotify exists it was my salvation... but now its taking all my energy by the very very racist approach in songs recommendations. I cant even any more with you playing "expresso" and "we cant be friends" after any song I choose. Girl????? Why dont you force people to hear black artists instead?

I live for music and for the services spotify delivery, anyone in any place can have access to a impossible range to imagine of artists around the world, and the fact the the app constantly  are playing these two songs cited every any song song that i search is frustrating. What makes me feel for the first time that you are very racist for real, and i very sad about it. i do prefer you to be capitalist instead, because in that way you will be playing what i like to consume, not that racist approach that making me feel bad.

IM VERY FRUSTrATED WITH MY EXPERIENCE... HOPE SPOTIFY WILL BE REPLACED FOR SOME SERVICE LESS AWFUL SOON. YOU SPOTIFY, MAKE ME FEEL BAD FEELINGS REGARDING LISTENING TO MUSIC AND I DONT THINK THATS BEAUTIFUL.

final tip: make your team more diverse if you want to be relevant in the future... hope that services like this will be trash soon

So I will say from a third person point of view, it seems a bit unrealistic there’s someone who has tailored the algorithm to specifically promote one race or another. Songs it recommends are ones that it notices you’ve spent time listening to that people who have the same taste in also listen to.

I don’t feel it’s appropriate to discuss the racism comment aside from asking you to ask yourself if Spotify was truly “racist towards black artists” why they’d have the provided artists/playlists so openly available. Might put things in perspective 😄
