Can I play my songs on my home portal device and my cell at the same time?

Can I play my songs on my home portal device and my cell at the same time?

I'm trying to play spotify on my home portal device and simultaneously on my cell phone when I'm not at home so my wife can listen thru the Portal.

Hey there,

Thanks for coming to the Community. Let's get you hooked up with a nice solution.

Short answer - not with one account, no.

Long answer - here's how to do it:

One account cannot be used for a simultaneous music playback on multiple devices, so your wife or you will need a separate account to use with the portal or the cell phone. And that's where our Premium Duo subscription can truly shine. With it you can have two Premium accounts so both of you can listen to your favorite tunes independently. More on the Duo Plan here.

And if you need even more independent simultaneous device playback, we have the Family Premium subscription, which can support up to 6 separate accounts, here is a link with info on it.

PS: Just make sure everyone is logged in their own account, so no playback conflicts occur.

Hope this helps,

Cheers!

Why can’t I play music on my iphone and have someone else play music on one of my echo devices at the same time.
