Certain songs wont auto play - they can be when re-selected - this is both in windows AND on ipod

I have created a playlist, not may songs in it (yet) and two songs in it:

Narcotic - Radio Edit from Liquido and I See Fire from Ed Sheeran will not play when all the songs within the playlist are played. The only way I can get them to play is on Windows (8.1) to double click them again and on my ipod (when driving - and Spotify is offline) to basically skip to the next songs and then skip back. Then the songs start playing.

How can this be solved - it is very irritating.

Both on Windows and on my Ipod I am running the latest player versions.
