Collaborative Playlist Not Syncing

Collaborative Playlist Not Syncing

I recently made a collaborative playlist on my laptop. When I open the playlist on the spotify web player, it shows all the songs people have added to it using the link I sent them. When I try to view it on the spotify app on my phone/laptop, there are no songs; the playlist is not synced between the web player and my devices for some reason.

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community. 

 

First up, we suggest that you log out of your account on your devices and then log back in. 

 

If this doesn't do the trick, could you send us some screenshots of how the playlist looks like on the web player and on your PC? Make sure not to send any private info.

Hi Eni,

Thanks for your reply! I ended up playing the playlist on the web player so that it would show up on my spotify dashboard. Then, I deleted the original playlist which was empty. Once I downloaded the playlist after having it show up in my recently played, it solved the issue.

I have a collab playlist with 169 other people that gets cleared each week. Some of the collaborators then pop some songs in. The last two weeks some of the collaborators are reporting that the playlist is not updating for them, despite trying on phone, PC and re-installing.
