Device Syncing and PlayTo Features Removed, causing "This Song is not Available"

Device Syncing and PlayTo Features Removed, causing "This Song is not Available"

I have 3 devices that are in sync: A DesktopPC, Android, and an UltraBook wired to a Home Theater System.

The DesktopPC has a local library several thousands songs big, many of which are not available on Spotify.  Until recently, when these songs were placed into a playlist and made "Available Offline", they were synced to the other devices and playable on those devices even if the tracks weren't available through Spotify.

Recently Spotify stopped being able to play synced tracks that were not available through Spotify.  Even though those tracks were in fact synced to the device.

For instance, Taylor Swift removed her Album from Spotify.  Over a month ago I could host her album from my DesktopPC and choose to make it available offline. By doing so the song was available to play on my UltraBook and Android Phone.  Recently however this does not work even though the track has been synced to the devices.  For example, the Android screenshot below shows the album is synced but refuses to play.

The UltraBook has also lost the ability to play the songs.  This is a huge disappointment that broke the best part of your "Play To" feature. Using the "Play To" feature I could use my phone as a remote to select a song stored on my Desktop-PC for my UltraBook to play through the Home Theater System. This was absolutely awesome.   Anymore it tells me the "Song is not Available"  then plays the next "available" song.

I've show friends and this WAS THE KILLER FEATURE that convinced them to get Spotify!!!  Please bring back the capability to play songs in your personal music collection that are synced between your devices!

This is not an idea or anything new.  This was already a feature Spotify had for several months and is now broken!

A Month ago Spotify was able to play songs synced from one device's local music collection on a different device tied to my account.  I'm trying to report that this feature is now bugged, Spotify still syncs the songs but Spotify will not play the songs it synced from a different device.   These songs are my personal music collection stored on my desktop that were synced to my Android and UltraBook.

The songs are on these devices.  I know so because I wiped and reinstalled Spotify on my Phone and Ultrabook then tried to re-synced ONLY my local personal collection of songs and these songs have the "green down arrow icon" (Refer to Android Screenshot in prior Post) by the songs indicating that they are indeed synced.

I have 10GB of my personal collection synced to my phone (through Spotify over WiFi) plus an additional 7 Gigs of Spotify songs. As of a Month ago I can no longer play the local songs Spotify synced from my Desktop to my Android or UltraBook.  I do not want to go back to the old days of having a separate music player for my personal collection.  A Month ago Spotify was the only music player I needed.
