I have a free Spotify account and it won't show me how to turn on Explicit.

I have a free Spotify account and it won't show me how to turn on Explicit.

Every time I go to settings, it doesn't give me the option.

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Spotify Community!

 

If you're not seeing the option to allow anything with explicit tags, then you're probably using the Web Player. You should be able to turn it on in the mobile/desktop app by following the steps here and it should sync across all platforms afterwards.

On the desktop app, I go to my profile picture, click on "Settings", but the only 2 things that show up are: 1) Language, and 2) Display. Nothing else. Can't see any options to turn explicit content on or off. Please help!

I'm not able to enable explicit songs on Spotify. When I go to settings, it only shows 'language' and 'display,' this may be because I don't have Spotify premium, but I've had access to explicit songs before, and it just recently switched.
