Is Release Radar still working?

Hi!

I'm curious to see how Release-Radar works nowadays. 

About 3 years ago, I released a song that had about 250 new listeners from the Release Radar playlists.
A few months ago, I released a new song that received... 2 plays from Release Radar...

Worth noting is that my number of followers between the first and second release has more than tripled. 

I have noticed that there are a lot more algorithmic playlists lately, is this, (and the push for podcasts) the main reason of that is causing such a drastic change? Or is there something else that I might not be aware of.
