LG tv firmware for spotify

My 55lb6100 lg smart tv has the spotify app, I download, aND launched the app but it says the firmware is not updated. I literally bought the tv today, I followed the instructions to support, update system, and everything says up to date... any suggestions?? Or do I just need to switch to pandora?

Exact same problem. bought the TV on 5/26 so it's only two days old. LG says the firmware is up to date, Spotify says it isn't but doesn't give any specifics as to what version of the firmware is required. As a developer, I assume you must know what version of the firmware is required and should be saying so, or it's a cynical answer to the app not funcitoning on the TV.

When I try to run Spotify on my LG SmartTV, a window opens that says Adobe Flash must be installed. There is a button to install Adobe Flash, but clicking on it merely opens a message that says "Adobe Flash is not supported on this device." I have yet to figure out a way around this.
