Laptop - Songs skipping rapidly.

At first I wanted to play a playlist, assumed it was just the playlist then tried to just listen to something on discover- discovering it also happened here.

When i press shuffle play, (as I don't have premium.) songs in any playlist or group or radio skip rapidly after a second of playing  just repeating itself over and over in a loop of never ending skipping. like someone is rapidly pressing next.

I can't listen to any songs on spotify.

anyone have any idea?

My local files are all disconnected - it only happened after my laptop was wiped last night after a bug, before that spotify just kept crashing and wouldn't open.

I'm on Windows 10, if that's relevant.

Well, you posted this in a wrong section, but ok.

Try to reinstall Spotify and tell me if it worked. Thanks!

oh and you don't have to shuffle play music on desktop even if you are using Spotify Free, the limitation is only on phones!
