Music stops after an add plays and then I have to manually restart music.

Music stops after an add plays and then I have to manually restart music.

After an add plays music just stops and it gets stuck on the add. I then have to select a new Playlist or restart the app to get it going again. Pretty annoying when you get four songs then have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get the music going again. Happening on my phone desktop and dot speaker.

Is it a specific ad that causes this behavior? If not, is it possible to try using a different internet connection by a different provider? If yes, can you please let us know the following:

  • The name of the ad.
  • The exact OS version and Spotify version of your desktop device.
  • Rough time of the last occurrence.
