Music won't play from my play list

I pick a song from my playlist and instead of going to the next one on the play list it picks a rondom one and I don't know how to change it. I hope you understand

For starters, just to confirm, the next song that plays is a track located within the same playlist or is it just a random track? It'd be awesome if you could check. In this case you can check if you have activated the Shuffle feature. You can read more about this in this article and how to deactivate it.

On another note, it's possible you have some other playlist or songs in the queue ready to start playing. So, we'd recommend you check if there's something on the queue to play next. If yes, you can clear the queue, but you first have to locate it by following the steps in this article. Then you can hit the Clear queue button to see if you notice any difference.

Lastly, if none of the above does the trick, would you mind letting us know the exact make/model and OS of your affected device along with the Spotify version you have running?
