Playing different songs on different echo and dots

Playing different songs on different echo and dots

Hi all

I have an echo and 2 dots. I have a family membefship also. I want to play music on my echo then my daughter wants to listen to different music on her dot. It only allows one of us to listen to music at one time. When we try different songs, it boots one of us off. Why is this not working?

Thanks

That would be cool. However when you start thinking about how everything works, it would be difficult to pull off. For Spotify Family, you have to have different logins that the mai account invites to join their Family. The problem is that your Amazon login is linked to your Spotify account, right? To play a different song then you'd need a separate Amazon account for the 2nd echo, linked with their own Spotify account. Doable, but then you'd lose multiroom audio.
