Playlist too long?

My Question or Issue

I have a playlist that had upwards of 300 hours of music on it and whenever I try to cast to my Google home I can't use this playlist because it won't let me select a song to play or to use shuffle play. If a song is already playing from it and I cast then it works but I can't select other songs. This isn't an issue with other playlists that I have that aren't as long. Any ideas as to why this happens?
