Podcast Video won't play when the episode is downloaded.

The audio will play but the video will not play when I have the episode downloaded.

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community. 

Could you please test this with a different account? If a family member has a Spotify account, it'd be great to ask them to log in on your device to see if they'll be able to watch video on podcast episode when it's downloaded. This will help us understand if it's account related or not. 

In case the issue persists, we'd suggest that you go to your Spotify app's Settings and look for Steam Audio Only setting. It's located under Data Saver (iOS )/ Video Podcasts(Android). Turn it on, then restart the app and turn this setting to Off again and check if the video on this episode starts playing. Screenshot for visibility below.

I had a similar problem, i downloaded a JRE podcast and it only downloaded the audio, so i checked the settings and there was no option for audio/video only downloads. So can you not download the video on a Macbook?
