My Question or Issue:

I use Spotify mostly for music, love Release Radar and Discover Weekly. Recently I've been using earbuds at night to listen to binaural beats and sleep music/sounds from the Podcast section.  Now Discover Weekly is all relaxing new agey stuff from the Podcast I use. I want real music and songs like before. Release radar this week is about half the new age sounds. How to I keep the podcasts/beats out of my music? I want to keep the beats and relaxing stuff seperate from my music mixes.
And, when will we see the HD music promised several years ago? Spotify overall has the best features/interface than most other music apps. But audio quality is the one thing it suffers from in Comparison to Amazon Music, Tidal and others. I

Hey @vlawde,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community regarding this.

At the moment, there's no option to delete tracks or podcasts from your Taste Profile to avoid affecting your recommendations. So in this case, we'd recommend listening to more of your favorite music during the day, and activate the Private Session feature when you listen to chill sounds or binaural beats to avoid them from affecting your recommendations.

If you have the chill music episodes in a single playlist, you can also exclude it from your taste profile to avoid activating the Private session feature everytime you play it.

Also, if you want to show your support for this functionality, we'd also recommend adding your vote to this idea by hitting the thumbs up button.

Lastly, we'd also suggest adding your vote to this idea about Hi-Fi since we don't have any official information about it. Any relevant update will be posted there.

Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, don't hesitate to ask.

I stream from an Android phone. I tried to activate private session. I get a message saying this function is not available on this device. Just looked and Discover weekly and Release radar are not the normal music I listen to, all new age sleepy. I'll try excluding the beats playlists and see if that helps
