Podcasts randomly skip to next episode

My Question or Issue

I play an 8 hour podcast of white noise in my baby's room to help her sleep, but sometimes it will randomly skip to the next podcast episode on its own, without me pressing anything. It does this consistently every night but at random times during the podcast playtime. I'm not even using my phone most times when it does this, and the microphone is switched off on the Google Home so it appears to be a bug that causes it to skip - any suggestions? Thanks

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community. Apologies for the delayed response, we just came across this thread.

We'd recommend that you try performing a clean reinstall of the app on your Android device. It'll get you the latest app version with all necessary updates and fixes and will remove any corrupted files from previous installations. This tends to solve issues with the app's performance. 

In case you're still experiencing this, we'd suggest that you unlink the Google home speaker and link it again.
