Problem Streaming Spotify to Ovation

I am a systems integrator selling the Ovation OMS-1 Music Streamer by Fusion Research. This device is spotify-capable but we are having trouble enabling Spotify. After entering the customer's account information (they have a premium account) into the Ovation, my spotify service is not populating. I am using the OMS-1 with a Control 4 system. I heard that, in the password field, I need to enter a special code generated by Spotify for mobile phones/music devices, but I can't find where to generate that code in the customer's account info. Please if anyone has used Spotify with Ovation and/or Control 4 let me know how to get this working. Thanks
