Problem with spotify connect and bluesound powernode

Hi,

 

I'm trying to come to grips with my spotify issue - I can't get my bluesound system to play music through spotify connect. I can see the device in spotify connect but it doesn't connect. However a friend of mine could connect when they were visiting and could play without a problem which is the reason why I think it is a problem with spotify and my account rather than bluesound. We have a motorola android, an iphone and an ipad which all have the same problem through my spotify account. Any ideas?

Hi Gusten, 

 

In my experience with Bluesound you can only have one Spotify account authenticated with your Bluesound Player(s). I bet one of your guest's Spotify account has overridden your account and is the reason why you are unable to see / connect to your Bluesound Players via the Spotify app. 

 

I'd go into the Settings section of the BluOS app, re-authenticate your Spotify account credentials, and try again. I'm intersted to know if it works, so let me know how you make out.
