Quite annoyed..

I was recently gifted a Spotify gift card and was planning on using it on the 3 months for $0.99 deal and was quite disappointed to find that I could not receive this offer with a gift card. I only found this out after redeeming the gift card. After redeeming the gift card it said that the $36 would expire in 3 months which I found odd, considering on Spotify free it was constantly telling me I could get 3 months for $0.99. I then googled to see if I was doing something wrong and found out from an external forum that the offer did not apply to those using a gift card. I’m very annoyed that this was not disclosed anywahere in the adds about the offer or on the webpage for the offer and I was lead to falsely believe that I would get more than 3 months out of this gift card. I would appreciate it if this could be updated so others don’t have to be unpleasantly surprised like I was. Very disappointed.
