Re: Playing just music for an artist, no commentaries

Solved!

Re: Playing just music for an artist, no commentaries

Same. One of my favorite country artists has commentaries with his music. I was listening via the artist's profile yesterday and I was mostly getting less music and more of him going "This song means so much to me because blah blah blah I love this song". It's driving me crazy.

Hey @Samanthalynn24,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. We moved your comment to a new post as the previous one was from 2015. Hope you don't mind.

We appreciate your feedback regarding this. However, keep in mind that those "comments" are still tracks updated as metadata on our platform and included on the album, so the app is unable to process the difference between which metadata is a song and which one is a commentary.

Something that worked for me personally is selecting the songs that I like from the artist and adding them to the queue to make sure I'm listening only to my favorite ones, avoiding intros, outros, or comments included on the albums. You can also create a playlist to avoid re-doing the queue every time you want to listen to that specific artist.

Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, the Community will be here for you.

You are a lifesaver. I'll make sure to do it next time I listen to this artist.
