I'm having the same issue with Spotify on an Amazon fire stick, plays 6 seconds of one song with no sound. It was sampling through the playlist, but now stops after one song.

I have uninstalled Spotify and reinstalled it and restarted the fire stick and wifi.  The problem remains. First noticed it Friday 6/23.

Welcome to the Community and thank you for joining the conversation.

 

Just to be on the same page, have you tried the previous processes of updating the OS of your firestick as previously suggested. Also could you confirm if trying with a different Wi-Fi network makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can use a Mobile data hotspot to test it.

 

Lastly, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.

If your Toshiba Fire TV has no sound, it might need a reset, or you should update its software. Furthermore, you should check if the speaker cables are connected properly.
