Samsung Galaxy active watch missing spotify device list

It will play Spotify just fine on the watch but when I go to control my phone's Spotify from my watch it the watch won't connect to my phones Spotify

Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community! 

First up, we'd recommend checking if the OS of your watch and your phone is up to date. 

If so, would you mind giving a different internet connection a go to see if that does the trick?

If the issue persists, could you try using Connect the other way around by asking the phone to play in the watch to see if that works as expected?
