Songs Cut Out After Downloading To MP3

Alright so I'm really into making my own video edits and love the songs I find on Spotify. I came across a website that I could download the songs I wanted from Spotify, and it would put the MP3s of them on my iTunes account so I could put them on the videos. Ever since I did this, all the songs I downloaded cut out at 2 minutes 59 seconds. I've deleted the converter, removed the songs from my Spotify library and playlists, and it still cuts out. When I search for all the songs, it displays it's only 2:59 long. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify on both my Mac and my iPhone and the problem persists. I miss my whole songs! What can I do to get the rest of the song to play?

Spotify doesn't support any third-party applications which download music off Spotify.  You can only download your music for offline use with these steps. I recommend purchasing the music you'd like to use in videos. Let me know if there's anything else.
