I'm having a weird issue since 2 days ago.
Songs inside a playlist are perfectly playable, but other songs listed on categories such as Songs, Albums or Artists, when I click on Play icon, nothing happens.
If I go inside a personal playlist and I both click either in general play icon or on the individual rounded icon... IT WORKS (?!). But not in the rest part of the section...
What's happening? This is really weird, right?
Thanks for your help.
By the way, I'm having this problem at work with Linux, Firefox and also Google Chrome.
Mine is similar, but only the album featured on the right of the display will play.
It magically repaired itself! Probably somebody fixed it. Now music is back again, for now.
it will breka again. just wait. it's not fixed.
Trevor do you know what's goin' on?
nope. i have to constantly refresh to get my playlists to actually play. so annoying.
I'm having this exact issue right now. Songs in my collection will absolutely not play at all. But I can play songs in playlists. I've cleared my cookies and cache, but I'm still having the issue.
I'm using Chrome on Linux, and I've tried Firefox but I have the same issue there.
Having the same issue, I'm about ready to throw my laptop through an F-ing wall. How can your web player be such a buggy piece of garbage? I've had issues with the web player for a year now, but now over the last 2 days I cant play any music besides what is already playing. Click on the play button, nothing happens. No adblock enabled.
I'm on a Macbook pro, OSX El Capitan version 10.11.13
The console is full of errors.
Got the same issue! Deleting my cookies seemed to work, but now its broken again and deleting cookies wont do anything!
Spotify please fix this!
sometimes you can hit refresh 4,5,6,7 times and it'll eventually work for a little bit.
i'm on firefox and linux. worked great up until yesterday...
Refreshing works eventually for most playlists. But some are still faulty and my favourites won't work regardless. 😞
I've also been having this exact problem the last 3 days. I'm glad it isn't just me. I was starting to lose my mind trying to fix it. Sometimes I can't even get playlists to play, along with my songs. I've deleted all of my cookies for Spotify, and it hasn't helped. I installed the desktop player just so I could use Spotify again, but I'd really like to be able to use the website again.
So I've still been having this issue, and it's not just at my Linux work computer, I get the same problem on Chrome at my home Windows computer as well. It would be really great if I could use my song collection ...
Still broken. Can only play things from my playlists and not my music
Yeah, can confirm. Still an issue.
Needs a fix for any sort of major funtionality in the web player.
Having this exact same issue as well.
Somebody have fix the problem? Can't play music from collection since a week ago
I have the same issue.. I can't play the songs that I 'saved'. I can click what I want but they just don't play and it's frustrating. It does work on my mobile though. It also happened a few days ago, it's so weird.
