Spotify Xbox One volume changing

Hello fellow melomaniacs,

I woke up this morning with a problem, when I play music on spotify the volume reduces significantly on quiet parts or parts with no bass. When the bass kicks in of there are many synthesizers in the song the volume increases and restores to its meant volume...

What is going on with my xbox one/spotify app. It's not the speakers, I tested them on different sources. Hope someone can help me out!

Hey,

By any chance your system is set up to push sound through AVR? If so, there might be funky audio processing issue. Would recommend trying "pure direct" on AVR .

AVR stands for Audio Video Receiver. They often do extra audio processing that could result in audio artefacts in certain configurations.
