Spotify doesn’t work properly on my PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

Spotify doesn’t work properly on my PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

It runs with such a delay that skipping songs will usually crash the app and attempting to loop a song will return you to the song you started playing after opening the app.
You can’t connect to the console via Bluetooth through your phone to use your phone to control Spotify.

Hey @AWildLink,

Thanks for posting in the Community!

If you're experiencing issues with Spotify both on a PlayStation and Xbox console, can you let us know if you've tested with a different internet connection and if it makes a difference with the playback/loading? Are you connected directly to a router through ethernet?

I also recommend keeping the app up-to-date, as well as making sure you're using the newest software versions on the consoles.

On another note, are you able to connect another device (computer for example) to the consoles via Bluetooth?

Thanks for the cooperation and we'll be on the lookout 🙂

I’m listening on Xbox series x after a song plays it will not go to the next one and I have to manually skip to the next song it doesn’t say it’s pause and it’s stuck on the last second of the song
