Spotify doesnt play all the tracks in the playlist

Hi,
I have spotify on my sony xperia Z5 (Android). Since yesterday I have realized that it only plays one track and stops playing when the track ends. I have re installed the app three times and still the same problem, also deleted the cache but it hasnt fixed the issue either.
I have a premium account.
Looking forward to get a solution.

Can you please confirm what is your Spotify version?

Can you enable the crossfade option and let me know if the issue persists?

Hi,

I have enabled the crossfade and it works now. But should it only work under the condition that the crossfade is active?!

The virsion is 3.9.0.965
