Spotify on TV wont play correct song on daylist

Spotify on TV wont play correct song on daylist

Been going on for a while and it's insanely frustrating i have to make a post about why the song i select to play wont play. It seems to be that the daylist shown on the screen is outdated and no matter what song i select to play spotify will start to play the first song on my "Currently Active" daylist. If there is a song i like on the daylist i would like to listen to, i have to add that song to a playlist then navigate to that playlist and then the correct song will play. This issue seems to persist after multiple log in/ reinstall and restarts. Literally the bare minimum for a premium music service would be me being able to play the songs recommended to me.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome. 

 

To investigate this case further, would you mind trying with a different Wi-Fi connection? If you don't have another one available, you can use a mobile data hotspot to test it. 

 

Also, it would be great if you could have someone log in with their account on your device - such as a friend or a family member, to see if the issue persists. 

 

Lastly, could you check on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? You can borrow one from the same friend or family member to test it out.
