Spotify tries to connect to samsung R6 speaker but just wont!

I have installed the samsung multiroom app and spotify is shown there. When I click on this and try to play a song, it will not connect to the speaker. I have reset everything and logged out of spotify but still it does not work. Can anyone help?

Hi,

Have you connected your speaker to wifi? Is the device that you use to control spotify on the same wifi or on the same network with wired connection as the speaker is?

If you are using spotify via your phone you should check that you have connected to wifi instead of using the mobile data.

Apologies if you have already done these steps. I just thought to check.
