Spotify web player not working on my surface pro

I have a Spotify premium account.  I am able to play music on my phone or home receiver, but can no longer play on my computer (Surface Pro 3).  I can control my phone from my computer through Spotify connect.  Whenever i try to play on my computer, i get the pink error message at the top.  I try to turn the volume up on the bottom right and it is stuck on 0

That's not cool! Could you try to open the Spotify Web Player in a different browser? Does it work there? Let me know how it goes.
