Stop playing suggested songs

When I am paying for a service that allows me to add whatever songs I WANT to a playlist, DO NOT make the app play other songs that I DID NOT ADD MYSELF while playing that playlist. Reccomandations are ok, but make it possible to turn the damn feature off. I made a specific playlist for a reason.

Thanks for posting in the Community! We've moved your post to this help board because it doesn't qualify as a valid idea.

Sounds like you're having the Spotify Autoplay feature on. This is how it works: When you reach the end of an album, playlist, or selection of songs, Spotify automatically plays similar songs so the music never stops.

In case you want to stop that and enjoy only the selected songs in your playlist, then please check the instructions for toggling this feature on Desktop or Mobile here.

I'm in the same boat.  I'm listening to my liked songs and every 3rd song is something that I never liked and didn't add, and I have to manually "dislike" the song.

The response you got from Spotify is wrong.  I'm ready to quit and go to another platform.  Why are we paying to listen to whatever they feel like playing?
